Moktar Gaouad joins Genoil to lead the company into the MENA and African market. Moktar has deep knowledge of this market and he brings with him expertise in business development and media communications. He is a communications expert and an international media development consultant based in New York. Moktar is a former Executive Producer for major French international TV channels (France 24 and TV5 Monde). He taught
journalism and communications in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Moktar is also the author of major contributions and studies about African development issues.
For three years Mr. Gaouad served as Lead Communications Officer at the African Development Bank Group. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic. He studied political science and journalism in France and also holds a Bachelor degree in Ethnology.
