GENOIL INC. ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTOR

Calgary, Alberta, Canada. – February 26, 2008 – Genoil Inc. (TSX.V: GNO; OTCBB: GNOLF) is pleased to announce that Mr. David A. Johnson has been appointed to join the existing board of directors of the Corporation. As a result, and subject to regulatory approval, the current Genoil board of directors consists of Messrs. David Lifschultz, Joseph Fatony, Harry Bloomfield, Q.C. and David Johnson.
Mr. Johnson is a lawyer with Bloomfield & Associates in Montréal, Québec, Canada specializing in Canadian Federal and Provincial Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Commercial Transactions, Trade-marks and Copyright Law.
