Bengt was the Executive Chairman of Atlantic Container Lines from 1984-1990. He was managing Director of Marketing and Operations at 
Atlantic Container Lines from 1972-1984.
Bengt is a lawyer and Swedish national citizen. Sweden is where two of the three largest bilge cleaner manufacturers are located. Bengt says there are close relationships between bilge cleaners and ship builders, in Sweden so Bengt Swedish nationality and shipping experience should help Genoil to break up some of these tight alliances. Bengt was Managing Director of Italia di Navigazione, based in Genoa Italy from 1990 to 1993. He was also Managing Director of DSR Senator Lines, Genoa Italy 1993-1998. (Two other major shipping lines).
Many leaders of the largest shipping companies today have worked for Bengt or with him, and his contacts within the industry are extensive and global.
To date Bengt is responsible for Genoil meetings with Atlantic Container Lines, Wallenius Willhelmsen, CMA in Marseilles France, Stena Lines in Gothenburg, Grimaldi in Naples, and MSC.
