GENOIL RECEIVES AMERICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING CERTIFICATION FOR ITS OILY WATER SEPARATOR

Calgary, Alberta, Canada — April 9th, 2008 — Genoil Inc. (TSX.V: GNO; OTCBB: GNOLF) announced today that its Crystal Sea oily water separator has been awarded certification from the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) for bilge water treatment in ships.  The Crystal Sea is a state-of-the-art bilge water treatment system which has also successfully met or exceeded the highest guidelines and standards of the United States Coast Guard and the International Maritime Organization’s Resolution MEPC 107 (49) for pollution prevention equipment for ship bilges.

Genoil’s Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, John Noble, said: “We are very excited about this certification as it strengthens our global marketing efforts with shipyards and ship owners. We are currently marketing the Crystal Sea, through our global sales agents, in Europe, China, South Korea, Greece, the Middle East, Canada and the United States.”
