Bengt Koch has served as a member of Genoil’s board since May 2013. He has taken an active role in the company focusing on sales and marketing for Crystal OWS and the GHU upgrading technology. Bengt has introduced Genoil to many of his former relationships in the transportation industry around the world. He has taken up the role of master corporate salesman and also heads the executive management committee. Bengt is based in Europe.
Bengt has a very strong career in the transportation business. He has served as executive chairman and managing director for several steam ship lines including, managing director of Italia di Navigazione, based in Genoa. From 1984-1990 Bengt Koch was the Executive Chairman of Atlantic Container Lines. Prior to that he was managing director of marketing and operations at Atlantic Container Lines from 1972-1984. He was also managing director of DSR Senator Lines, Genoa Italy 1993-1998.
Many leaders of the largest shipping companies today have worked for Bengt, and his contacts within the industry are extensive and global. To date Bengt is responsible for introductions to Atlantic Container Lines, Wallenius Willhelmsen, CMA Container Lines in Marseilles France, Stena Lines of Gothenburg, Grimaldi lines of Naples Italy, and Mediterranean Shipping Corporation.
Bengt has a LLB law degree from Uppsala University in Sweden. CEI (Centre d´Étude Industrielle) International Advanced Management Program, Geneve, Switzerland. And attended Stanford University’s Executive Program, Palo Alto, California
